Eton Cottage sleeps four guests and is equally appealing to small families as it is couples (one or two), having two double bedrooms. The cottage sits in the Norfolk village of Corpusty, surrounded by glorious countryside and within easy reach of Norwich, the Norfolk coast and the Broadland villages.
Corpusty is a pretty little village in the heart of Norfolk countryside with a pub, grocery shop, children's play area, little art gallery and water mill adding to the charm of the setting. You can enjoy walks straight from the cottage alongside the river to the village with other lovely walks accessible from there.
For day trips out, Norwich city centre is fourteen miles away. Rich in history and heritage, the city offers a host of attractions including two cathedrals, a Normal castle, museums (including the country's only mustard museum which is more of a shop but interesting nonetheless), galleries, shops and eateries.
Norfolk's glorious coastline is also within easy reach with Cromer and Sheringham being popular choices for a day by the sea, as well as Wells and Blakeney with its seal colony just a little further around the coast. Norfolk's coastline is renowned for its abundance of wildlife, (including many feathered varieties attracted by the salt marshes), as are the Broads with their magical waterways to explore (thirty minute's drive away).
Take a nostalgic trip on North Norfolk Railway which provides a scenic journey from the seaside town of Sheringham to the historic market town of Holt with lovely independent shops, antiques to browse, restaurants and tea shops. The National Trust properties and gardens of Blickling, Felbrigg and Sheringham Park should also be on everyone's itinerary when visiting this interesting part of Norfolk.
