Station House sleeps up to six guests and is located close to Keswick on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Formerly a Station Masters house, this nicely presented holiday home provides an ideal base for exploring the areas many attractions inc the Scottish Borders and the beautiful Eden Valley. Nestling in Troutbeck, a small Cumbrian village in between Keswick and Penrith, Station House is near to Ullswater, a beautiful lake and the areas second largest.
The house offers exceptionally spacious accommodation that is well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday including full central heating making it ideal all year round. All of the rooms afford pleasant views over the big enclosed south facing garden (with patio and BBQ) and beyond towards Mell Fell and the hills of the Lakes.
Guests have the choice of three pubs within a one mile radius and the towns of Keswick and Penrith are an eight mile drive for stocking up on groceries. The surrounding area, including Ullswater offers breathtaking scenery and the opportunity to enjoy a host of outdoor activities including: fantastic walking; kayaking; cycling; sailing; climbing; fishing and lake cruises to name just a few. The Rookin House Outdoor Activity Centre is also closeby offering pony trekking, quad biking etc.
