Rock Cottage sleeps four guests (plus an extra two on a sofa bed) and is a charming 17th Century stone Lakeland cottage which provides cosy and comfortable holiday accommodation where guests have the use of a large twin ended Jacuzzi bath for extra relaxation.
The self catering holiday cottage is ideal for families, friends and even couples looking for a short break (if free four weeks before arrival) or longer holiday. It retains many traditional features such as flag stone floors, exposed stone walls, beams and the lovely open fires, making it a perfect holiday retreat for winter breaks. It also has a fantastic bathroom with walk-in shower and large double-ended Jacuzzi bath.
Nestling in the very heart of Lindale, a friendly Cumbrian village, Rock Cottage has a good choice of amenities close at hand including two pubs for a local pint or meal and a shop for stocking up on provisions. The village is well placed in the Southern Lakes within easy driving distance of Windermere, Coniston, Kendal and Grange-over-Sands, a charming Edwardian town by the sea.
Due to its hillside location, Lindale offers spectacular views over the Levens Valley and beyond to the Howgill fells - it is the ideal base for those who enjoy walking, cycling (including mountain biking) or those seeking spectacular countryside to relax and unwind in.
