Sleeping up to six guests in three bedrooms, Rattlebeck Cottage sits in any idyllic picturesque setting in the heart of the Lake District National Park in the tiny hamlet of Seatoller. One of a row of terrace cottages that were once used by miners, this attractive holiday cottage is very well located for walkers. Sitting at the base of the Honister Mountain Pass, it is also a good touring base from which to explore the Lakes many attractions.
Taking its name from a cascading stream that passes by the front of the cottage, Rattlebeck Cottage affords spectacular views and is within easy driving distance of the vibrant market town of Keswick (the home to a number of attractions including The Puzzling Place and Theatre by the Lake), Derwentwater, Buttermere, Crummock Water and the many delights of the Borrowdale Valley.
Spend your days discovering the beauty of the surrounding area with some of the Lake District's finest walking accessible directly from the front door or enjoy other outdoor activities that include canoeing and climbing - why not take on the challenge of Skafell or the Great Gable Mountain!
