Accommodating up to four guests, Ghyll Pool welcomes pets and children and is an ideal place for a family holiday with the use of leisure facilities including a swimming pool. The cabin has a large deck, which can be enclosed, where children can safely play and where an al fresco meal can be enjoyed whilst taking in the uninterrupted views through the trees over Skelwith Bridge to Black Crag beyond.
The communal building at Neaum Crag, houses a small swimming pool with sauna (small additional charge for the use of the sauna and please note the swimming pool closes from mid-November to early March) together with a table tennis, small shop and coin operated laundry with automatic washing machine and dryer.
Ghyll Pool offers a wonderful opportunity to escape the pressures of everyday life without being out of touch. The communal building has Wi-Fi and wired internet connection and a pay phone for those with a poor mobile phone reception.
The area provides a wealth of wonderful walks from a gentle stroll to a more challenging mountain hike and keen walkers can enjoy a week of walking directly from the front doorstep.
Neaum Crag is about three miles west of Ambleside at Skelwith Bridge where the beautiful Langdale Valley begins. It is near to Windermere and has a wealth of activities and attractions to enjoy nearby including: golf, fishing, South Lakeland's historic houses and gardens, lake cruises and the sites associated with literary heritage such as Beatrix Potter, Wordsworth and Arthur Ransome.
