About Boltons Tarn Luxury Log Cabin

Boltons Tarn Log Cabin is in an idyllic location within a private secluded eighteen acre woodland estate in the Langdale Valley, within the central Lake District. Being only two and a half miles from Ambleside, this is an ideal base for exploring the areas many attractions and also perfect for walkers, cyclists, or those who simply want to relax in a wonderful peaceful setting.

Surrounded by trees, the cabin sits in an elevated position and offers the opportunity of complete seclusion. Nicely placed within the estate, guests can enjoy a high degree of privacy with accommodation that is well equipped to ensure your holiday is comfortable and memorable.

The estate has been rated 5 Star with its facilities including a swimming pool (including changing rooms), Jacuzzi, sauna, communal laundry room, pay phone and WiFi internet access. There is a hotel within a five minutes walk serving A La Carte and excellent bar meals.

Centrally located in the picturesque village of Skelwith Bridge, the estate sits at the base of the beautiful Langdale Valley and is within easy driving distance of Coniston, Windermere, Grasmere, Ambleside and the many Lake District attractions and outdoor activities that the area has to offer. The top of the estate affords incredible views over the Langdale Valley and is a haven for wildlife with deer, squirrels, badgers and a large variety of birds frequently visiting. A "Badger Cam" has been installed in the lodge to announce when the nocturnal friends are visiting plus there are two nest boxes with cameras installed to provide extra early season interest.
