Kath's Cottage, situated on the edge of Tonbridge town, is the ideal place to relax, unwind and recharge. Warm and welcoming, this delightful cottage is the ideal base for exploring the many attractions of the South East and (or) just visiting family and friends.
For enthusiasts of historic houses, castles and gardens, Kath’s Cottage is perfectly placed to venture into Kent’s 'Garden of England' to explore the many and renowned National Trust and English Heritage properties. Romantic Hever Castle (once home to Anne Boleyn in her childhood days) with its double moat, and Penshurst Place and gardens are particular favourites to visit within the local area, as well as Ightham Moat, Leeds Castle, Rochester Castle, Chartwell House and of course Tonbridge Castle too.
The Spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is a short twenty minute car ride away and a lovely place to spend the day. The Pantiles with its wonderful Georgian architecture is a great place to visit. With restaurants and bars, and the ever popular Thursday open air jazz nights throughout the summer, it’s a real gem.
For those happy to travel further afield, Kent has the popular seaside town of Whitstable, the cathedral city of Canterbury, Dover Castle and the White Cliffs. Hastings, Rye and the wonderful Brighton are not too far way and well worth a visit. Our vibrant capital London is all but 35 minutes train journey from Tonbridge Station too.
