The 1st<\/sup> October is a date for all doggie diaries as many UK beaches lift their seasonal dog bans. There are of course, year round dog friendly beaches or partially restricted beaches that allow dogs during the summer months but come the 1st<\/sup> October, dog owners have a much greater selection of fantastic beaches to choose from in the UK.<\/p>\n

The weather in Autumn may not be as hot as the summer months but it often brings with it some pleasant surprises, so why not take advantage of the \u2018green light\u2019 and visit some of our beautiful beaches while they are restriction and crowd free? You may even find the cooler weather more pleasing for you and your dog when taking on the cliff top challenges of the coastal paths (after all, there’s over 18,000 miles of coastline in Britain to explore!).<\/p>\n

The UK has some of the finest beaches in Europe and Autumn is a perfect time to get the sand between your toes and dip your paws into the water. Any disadvantages the weather may bring, are certainly made up for by the cost savings you can make on holiday accommodation, with the summer peak season out of the way.
