Corrachbeag Cottage sleeps four guests in two bedrooms and is in an enviable position right on the edge of Loch Inchard, near to Kinlochbervie. Superbly located, the cottage allows you to enjoy exceptional uninterrupted panoramic views over the loch and the magnificent mountains of North Western Sutherland.
Located down below the road, Corrachbeag is in a private position and is not over looked, offering complete privacy for a peaceful family holiday or relaxing discreet retreat for two. However, whilst being very secluded, there is a shop in nearby Kinlockbervie (less than a quarter of a mile away) and a restaurant and hotel close by.
Kinlochbervie is a thriving bustling fishing port that sits in the unspoilt, dramatic picturesque setting of Cape Wrath, the UK's most north westerly point. With a dramatic, simply stunning coastline alive with marine and wildlife, the area is one of Sutherland's most scenic parts. Kinlochbervie has always got something going on with the village heart very much centred around the bustling harbour. Steeped in history and legend, there are stories of ghosts attached to pretty much every loch, hill or bay in the area, including Sandwood Bay with its alleged ghost of a sailor.
The area offers plenty of outdoor adventures and attractions to visit starting with the beautiful Oldshoremore beach and Sandwood bay - two of Scotland's most unspoilt beautiful beaches. Alternatively, head inland for some fantastic walks or more challenging hikes where you can take in the vast array of wildlife and totally unique scenery. If you are seeking adventure, try sea kayaking at Ridgeway Adventure where you can at times spot dolphins and whales if you are lucky off, seals basking in the sun or otters in Loch Inchard.
Visit nearby Handa Island with over two hundred thousand seabirds visiting the reserve during the warmer months or enjoy a leisurely game of golf on one of Scotland's the most north westerly courses. Superb trout and salmon fishing is also available in the area and there are plenty of great places to enjoy a meal out or a dram locally.
