Lowe Farm Cottage has room for eight people in four bedrooms and is ideal for large or extended families and groups of friends. The 4-Star cottage is one of six beautiful self-catering properties on a 230-acre farm close to Hereford and within walking distance of the Black Swan pub in Much Dewchurch. It can be booked on its own or together with the adjoining farmhouse to accommodate up to 24 people with ease.
If you find it difficult to sit still then you will really enjoy your holiday at Lowe Farm Cottage. The Black Mountains - views of which are beautifully framed by the cottage windows - are close by, as are the Wye Valley AONB and the Brecon Beacons National Park, offering countless ways to enjoy this beautiful landscape whether you walk, hike, kayak along the Wye River, fish, play golf or horse ride. There is an activity centre a short stroll from the cottage where you can book fun sessions of paintball, laser tag or clay pigeon shooting.
You will also love Lowe Farm Cottage if you enjoy doing as little as possible. Relax in the sunny garden with a barbecue or take a stroll around the farm's fields, lakes and woodlands. There is lots of outdoor space where kids and dogs can run and play while you sit with a book, or why not treat yourself and make an appointment with a mobile spa therapist who will come to the cottage so that you don't have to lift a freshly manicured finger.
Hereford is a short drive from the cottage, with its historical cathedral, shops, restaurant and pubs that make it more like a friendly market town than a city. Ludlow, with its wonky black-and-white buildings and excellent fine dining restaurants, is an easy drive away, as is the Book Town of Hay on Wye, famous for its annual literary festival, specialist bookshops and ruined castles. Other nearby attractions include The Jubilee Maze, The Violette Szabo GC Museum, Kilpeck Church, Goodrich Castle, and Clearwell Caves.
Lowe Farm Cottage is a modern addition to a former Victorian glassworks, providing a high standard of accommodation for guests within a relaxing, rural setting. However long you stay, you will leave with a lighter spirit and a desire to return.
