About Bray Lodge

Bray Lodge is a welcoming holiday home in Herefordshire. Admire beautiful rural views as you unwinding in your outdoor hot tub, having spent the day walking or cycling through gorgeous countryside, exploring cathedral cities and market towns, and relaxing in a way modern life doesn't allow for. The traditional timber lodge is spacious and comfortable, sleeping five people in three bedrooms, and well-suited for families, intergenerational families, or friends. It is one of three self-catering holiday rentals on a quiet smallholding where the owner cares for miniature donkeys, sheep, horses, and Shetland ponies.

Small Feet Farming Holidays is in the tranquil setting of Dilwyn, a scenic 25-minute drive from Hereford, where you'll find an excellent variety of shops and places to eat and drink. Hereford is a small but busy city with a magnificent cathedral where you can view the medieval Mappa Mundi. Ludlow and Hay-on-Wye are also less than half an hour's drive from Bray Lodge, while Leominster is a mere ten minutes away. You have a great choice if you want to shop for groceries or enjoy dining out.

Local attractions include Ludlow Castle, Croft Castle and Hampton Court Castle. Take a leisurely stroll around Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum, play a round at Grove Golf Club, race your family and friends at Herefordshire Raceway, or try your luck with a day at the races. There is a wide array of things to see and do within half an hour of the lodge, so it's easy to keep everyone happy. Slightly further afield, the Shropshire Hills, Malvern Hills, Wye Valley, and Brecon Beacons National Park provide even more stunning scenery where you can climb mountains, go wild swimming, and discover the beauty and charm for which the Welsh Borders are renowned.

Bray Lodge is available for bookings all year round. It is one of two properties (third one coming soon!) for self-catering holidays at Small Feet Farming. Both are completely private with space for five guests and can be booked together to sleep up to 10 people. Please see the owner's website for information.
