Little Farley is a delightful retreat for two. Recently completed and finished to an exceptionally high standard, the interior is stylish and extremely well appointed, providing a contemporary yet sumptuous feel for a relaxing self-catering break away.
A sanctuary for couples, Little Farley provides the perfect place for spending quality time away together. Nestling in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with Special Scientific Interest, the lodge sits deep within Bentley Woods, with Cycle Route 24 running alongside making it a perfect holiday destination for cyclists. A beautiful area well known as a paradise for walkers and a nationally renowned haven for rare butterflies with abundant birdlife and fallow deer roaming amongst the ancient oaks outside the lodge. A majestic backdrop where you will truly be able to 'get away from it all' and relax in tranquility.
With one thousand seven hundred acres of woodlands and copses to explore, you will have plenty to keep you occupied on your doorstep. Sitting on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border, there are also numerous attractions for those who want to venture out. The small villages of Farley (one mile), West Tytherley (two and a half miles) and Pitton (four miles) are all close by offering pubs for a meal out. There is also a good convenience store in Winterslow village (four miles) for stocking up on provisions.
For those who want to explore the area, the New Forest National Park, with its wild ponies and abundance of forest walks and cycling trails, plus hundreds of traditional pubs, is just a short drive from the farm. The forest offers endless opportunities for outdoor activities including horse-riding, walking, fishing, cycling, golf and lots of natural beauty for artists and photographers to capture. A little further afield you have pretty peaceful villages and larger towns to explore including Stockbridge, Lyndhurst, Burley, Lymington, Salisbury, Bournemouth, Swanage, Christchurch, Poole, Shaftesbury, Winchester and Southampton - all within a forty five minute drive. London is also easily accessible in under two hours by car.
Available for a short break or longer holiday, Little Farley is a beautiful 'bolt-hole' for two and perfect for those looking to escape to the country for a romantic break and some peace and quiet. Whilst Little Farley is remote (the farm sits down a long gravel lane), it is easily accessible to many of the areas major tourist attractions.
