A new architect-designed holiday retreat, Beech Lodge is ideally placed within walking distance of the River Test, making it an ideal location for those who enjoy fishing. The River Test passes through scenic countryside on its way to the Solent and offers probably the finest chalk stream fly fishing in Europe, along with The River Dunn, one of its most substantial tributaries, which runs just a few hundred metres from Beech Lodge.
Lockerley has two pubs and a village shop and is an ideal location for visiting the many attractions that this area has to offer. It is within easy driving distance of Stonehenge, Bath and the South Coast, along with the New Forest National Park with its miles of tracks and trails to explore, and Romsey Abbey - both only ten minutes away by car. The historic cities of Salisbury and Winchester with their stunning cathedrals are too within easy reach and just twenty minutes away.
Hampshire offers an abundance of attractions and some of the country's most outstanding scenery playing host to numerous outdoor activities including fishing, walking for all energy levels, shooting, cycling both on and off road, sailing and pony trekking. There are a number of lovely walks from Beech Lodge, including the ancient Clarendon Way which runs between Winchester and Salisbury, Monarch's Way and also Testway. For those with a passion for cycling, bring your bike away with you and explore National Cycle Route 24 which literally passes the front of Beech Lodge.
Being just a ten minute drive from the New Forest and within easy reach of the many attractions that this area has to offer, Beech Lodge is an ideal base from which to explore the area.

The charming first floor luxury holiday home provides welcoming self-catering accommodation which affords lots of light with a vaulted beamed ceiling and fantastic views. It has been decorated with soft shades of Farrow and Ball paint and furnished in a style that perfectly mixes country and classical furniture styles. The owners have equipped the lodge with everything needed for self-catering and furnished it to an excellent standard with a high level of attention to detail allowing two guests to enjoy a relaxing comfortable holiday.
Outside: There is ample parking. Guests have the use of a pretty courtyard with garden furniture and a BBQ is available.
Additional information: A welcome hamper with a small selection of produce is provided upon arrival. Lockerley shop sells all essential items and is a mile away. Electricity, central heating, bedding and towels are included within the price. Internet access available, along with telephone. Two bikes are available for guest use (a small charge applies). The staircase prevents access for wheel chair users and pets cannot be accommodated. The owners are very happy for guests to stroll around the paddock and relax by the lake (a small haven for wildlife and fish).
