Tucked away in the three-acre grounds of Woodcombe Lodges, this one-bedroom holiday cottage is ideal for couples or solo travellers. It's got everything you need for a comfy stay, including a well-appointed bedroom and a living area with access to a garden where you can kick back and soak in the stunning views over Exmoor — perfect for those quiet morning coffees or unwinding in the evening.
In Minehead, you're perfectly placed to enjoy some of the best that Somerset has to offer. For starters, you could spend a day at the Minehead beach. It's ideal for sunbathing, sandcastles, or a leisurely stroll along the promenade. The historic West Somerset Railway is a treat if you fancy exploring a bit more. Hop on one of their steam trains for a scenic ride through the countryside, which is a great way to see rural beauty without breaking a sweat. The South West Coast Path begins here for outdoor enthusiasts, offering miles of stunning coastal walks. Whether you're up for a challenging hike or a gentle ramble, the views and fresh sea air are a fantastic way to unwind. And if you're into cycling, the trails through the Exmoor National Park and around Minehead are almost unlimited.
Minehead is packed with small local shops for a bit of retail therapy and cafes where you can grab a bite and watch the world go by. And if you visit during the summer, there's often live music or a festival happening along the seafront, adding to the lively atmosphere of the town. Porlock and Porlock Weir are nearby, as are Dunster and Dunster Castle. Other local attractions include the Haynes Motor Museum, Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre, and Torres Cider Farm.

Rose Cottage is a pretty stone house with gorgeous views of Exmoor. Accommodation is all on one level.
Outside: The cottage has a lawn with a table and chairs. Guests have use of the three-acre grounds, games room, laundry room, and putting green. Parking is 50 metres from the door via a level path.
Additional Information: Dogs are not permitted in Rose Cottage, but there are other dog-friendly cottages available to book on site. Please see the owner's website for details. Bed linen is included. Towels can be hired at £5 a set. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in the laundry and information room. A cot and high chair can be provided if ordered. Bus is within half a mile which include the Open top bus that runs from Minehead to Ilfracombe, depending on the season. Smoking is not allowed in any of the lodges or cottages.
