About Eden Lodge

Eden Lodge sleeps three guests and is a cosy welcoming retreat that is great for couples looking for some peace and tranquility, and also small families, sitting in the eaves of North Wheddon Farmhouse in the Exmoor National Park.

North Wheddon Farm provides a perfect base for exploring Exmoor, Somerset and also Devon, along with their many attractions including fantastic beaches, beautiful scenery and pretty towns and villages such as Dunster, Lynton, Minehead and Porlock - all just minutes away from the farm.

Sitting in the pretty village of Wheddon Cross, North Wheddon Farm affords a wonderful peaceful setting with rural views all around. The grounds are very picturesque with a waterfall and stream running through - a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of modern living and enjoy a peaceful holiday or short break.

Exmoor National Park is a vast outdoor playground offering superb opportunities for those who enjoy walking, and North Wheddon Farm cottages are well placed for enjoying the many delights of the area. Dunkery Beacon with its challenging summits (National Trust managed) is close by and is the national parks most elevated point, providing wonderful views that encompass Somerset, Devon and even Wales on a good day. Brendon Hills are also exceptionally picturesque and a true hidden gem tucked away from the crowds.

With friendly farm animals, ducks, chickens and plenty of wildlife to see, this is a superb holiday destination for walkers, wildlife lovers and those wanting to experience country living and a farm holiday.

Additional information: Towels, bed linen and fuel costs are included in the price, along with many special extra touches for guests enjoyment and comfort. Lots of extras provided including games, cots, hot water bottles and even a hot toddy flask for long walks across the moor. Guests are greeted by the owners' upon arrival. Children (and of course adults!) are welcome to help feed the animals and enjoy a taste of farm living! A free copy of the British Wildlife detectives hand book is also provided for children for bookings of a week or more.
