Acorns is a spacious garden apartment where couples can escape and relax in a peaceful setting within walking distance of the Hunters Lodge Inn pub. It's one of two beautifully presented holiday properties at Hedgehog Corner, an award-winning venue two miles from Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guests have a private garden with a hot tub and outdoor seating, while inside, there is a spacious conservatory, stylish living room with a feature fireplace, and relaxing garden views. It's ideal if you've got a week off over summer but also perfect if you only have a few days and want an out of season break.
Lyme Regis has been a favourite holiday choice for centuries. Its sandy beach, vibrant harbour and historic town centre combine into a unique destination with year-round appeal. There's nowhere better to start exploring the Jurassic Coast, seeing fossils and even finding them yourself with guidance from local experts at the Lyme Regis Museum. The South West Coast Path is another superb attraction with breathtaking views over the coast and the English Channel. Acorns is in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with many miles of footpaths leading through rolling Devon countryside.
Devon's beautiful landscape is more than a pretty holiday destination. Its farms and vineyards produce some of England's best food and drink. The River Cottage Kitchen showcases the best regional produce in its restaurant and through its cooking school, and you can also eat well at local pubs and seafood restaurants. Alternatively, shop at farm shops and regular farmers markets for ingredients to cook in Acorns' well-equipped kitchen. Pair your menu with something special from Lyme Bay Winery. Days out can consist of visiting the Axe Valley Bird and Animal Park, watching the residents and learning about the excellent work done at the Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth or admiring the medieval monastery and gardens at Forde Abbey.
Holiday bookings are available all year round, with short breaks (minimum of three nights) available outside of the summer season.

Acorns is a spacious garden cottage with accommodation all on one level.
Outside: There is a step between the conservatory and the garden. There is a lawn and a paved patio with furniture and a hot tub. The cottage has allocated parking with an EV charging point.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen, bath towels and bathrobes are provided. Guests to bring beach towels if they are required. Smoking is not permitted. Short breaks are possible, depending on availability.
