Alternatively if you want to truly relax, enjoy a meal out at one of the numerous eating establishments closeby offering a good range of food and real ales.
Windover Farm Cottage is the perfect base for exploring this beautiful area and it also provides the opportunity to simply relax in a lovely countryside setting. Being set on a fifteen acre small holding, guests have the opportunity to watch the geese or lovely Gloucestershire old spot pigs. There are always hens wandering around and the owners are happy for guests to collect and enjoy the freshly laid eggs or simply explore the land - why not take a paddle in the river which runs along the bottom of the land or enjoy a picnic whilst listening to the babbling water! Alternatively, just sit on the private elevated patio which is ideal in the summer for sitting and reading, listening to the wildlife or simply relaxing whilst soaking up the outstanding views over the farmland to Dunkeswell Abbey.
