Stable Cottage at Courtmoor Farm is located in an idyllic spot within the picturesque rolling Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Nestling amongst seventeen acres of East Devon's glorious countryside, the self-catering cottage provides well-equipped, comfortable accommodation for 4 people in 2 bedrooms.
Comfy and welcoming, guests can enjoy spectacular views across the Otter Valley and the cottage provides an ideal base to relax and escape the outside world or explore the area’s many attractions.
Guests staying at Courtmoor Farm benefit from the free use of the onsite gym and sauna, along with the coarse fishing pond. There are also lovely walks through the woods with plenty of wildlife to spot and a nature trail for our younger guests.
A five-minute car ride takes you to the picturesque village of Upottery with its church, children's play area and pub (the Sidmouth Arms) serving good ale and food.
The historic market town of Honiton, famous for its lace making museum and antique shops, is just a ten-minute drive from the cottage. The lovely beaches of Charmouth and Lyme Regis (part of the Jurassic Coast which is great for fossil hunting!) are easily accessible and the East Devon beaches of Exmouth and Sidmouth are also within easy driving distance and offer a good choice of attractions. Taunton (with its racecourse and Somerset County cricket ground) is twenty minutes away by car and Exeter's city centre is just twenty-five minutes, both offering excellent shopping opportunities.
Dartmoor and Exmoor are easily accessible making this not only a great location for relaxing, cycling and walking but also for exploring the many attractions that Devon, Somerset and Dorset have to offer.
Short breaks of two nights (out of season) or three nights (peak season) are available in addition to longer lets, with flexible changeover day. Please contact the owners directly to discuss your requirements.

Approached via a private driveway, Courtmoor Farm affords a beautiful tranquil setting with wonderful far reaching views over the Otter Valley. Plenty of parking is available, along with storage to get your surf boards and bikes undercover.
Stable Cottage offers accommodation of a high standard whilst retaining the character of a traditional stone building.
Upon arrival, there will be someone to greet you and a Devonshire cream tea or home baked cake will be waiting for you to enjoy whilst you settle into the cottage and unpack. The owners are also on hand and happy to help with any local information or, alternatively, you may prefer to discover Devon yourself.
Stable Cottage offers split level accommodation, providing the following facilities:
Facilities available include: Free Wi-Fi access. A starter pack is provided to get you going which includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk, washing up liquid, tea towels, kitchen roll, bin liners, two toilet rolls etc. Bed linen, towels and bath mat are provided. There is garden furniture and BBQ outside for guests to enjoy during the warmer months. Ample parking and covered storage for bikes and surfboards.
Additional information: There is good mobile phone reception for Orange, Vodaphone and O2. Heating and electricity are included in the price.
