About Oakwood Farm

Oakwood Farm provides top quality, spacious holiday accommodation for two guests in one of the most desirable unspoilt areas of Devon. Guests can

The cottage has exceptional views across a wide expanse of the Devonshire countryside and whilst it is within easy reach of the popular town of Tiverton and the City of Exeter, it affords a peaceful position where you can escape and unwind. Guests also have the benefit of fantastic on-site free fishing.

Oakwood Farm is on a quiet working farm set amongst ninety acres of farm and woodland. Outside there is plenty of space to relax in the walled garden where you will find a gas BBQ, patio tables, chairs and one of Devon's finest views - the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine after a fun day exploring the area!

Visitors are welcome to explore and walk around the farm where there are a number of lovely walks to enjoy from the farm without needing to use the car, making it an ideal starting point for those who enjoy walking or cycling.

There is a fishing lake on the farm which is exclusively for the use of visitors to Oakwood Farm. It has a jetty, a large summer house and decking to enjoy the stunning views. The Lake is now stocked with mature Carp and residents have exclusive rights to fish the lake if they wish to.

The picturesque Devonshire village of Cadeleigh is within easy reach and a short walk from Oakwood Farm where you will find a welcoming community run traditional pub. The beautiful village of Bickleigh with its castle and packhorse bridge straddling the River Exe is a little further. Listed in the Doomesday Book, Bickleigh is home to Devon's oldest vineyard (Yearlstone Vineyard - a must for wine enthusiasts with its cafe/restaurant) and the renowned Fisherman’s Cot Pub (reported to be the inspiration for Simon and Garfunkel's hit “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”) - a must to visit and just one and a half miles from Oakwood Farm!

Oakwood Farm is centrally located for visiting both the rugged beaches of the North Devon coastline and also the more gentle and sheltered coastline of South Devon.
