This place is perfect if you want a seaside self-catering stay mere steps from the sand without your view being overrun with summer sunseekers. The ground floor apartment sleeps six people in three spacious ensuite bedrooms and features a private sun terrace, allocated off-street parking, and communal south-facing gardens. You're a mere stone's throw from Barricaine Beach and the South West Coast Park and only a five-minute stroll from Woolacombe's beach, cafes, pub, chip shop and other amenities.
You won't have to bother packing up the car for a day at the seaside. Just slather on the suncream, grab your bucket and spade, and stroll down to the sand, knowing that if you forget something, it takes just a minute to pop back to the property to pick it up. You could happily spend your entire holiday within a few hundred metres of your apartment. However, there is lots to see if you want to explore. The hilly stretch of coastal footpath rewards your efforts with incredible views, including a lighthouse, rugged cliffs infamous for shipwrecks, and secluded bays frequented by smugglers in years gone by. You might even spot a seal or two if you're lucky. The Tarka Trail and Exmoor National Park are nearby for mountain biking, and you can book a pony trek or surfing lesson with local businesses.
North Devon attractions include RHS Rosemoor, The Milky Way Adventure Park, The BIG Sheep, the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, and Exmoor Zoo. There are National Trust properties, a honey farm, and the Braunton Burrows Biosphere. You can dine at country pubs and seaside restaurants and shop at historic markets. Stay busy from sunrise to sunset, or settle down on a sun lounger and move no further than your terrace. It's all possible when you stay at 8 Coastal View.

8 Coastal View is on the ground floor of Hartland House, a period property just over The Esplanade from Woolacombe Beach. Accommodation is all on one level. It has recently been converted and decorated to a high standard with generously proportioned rooms.
Outside: Your private south-facing terrace has views of the beach and the water and a table and chairs for alfresco meals. Communal south facing gardens are well-tended with quiet seating areas and picturesque views. There is storage for your beach equipment and allocated parking for one car.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included when you book this apartment. You will only need to bring beach towels if they are required. No smoking. No pets.
