Leat Cottage is a secret treasure. Accessed via a hidden path, the wonderfully welcoming holiday cottage sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms with children and well-behaved pets welcome. The family-friendly holiday home is a few steps from picturesque Waterhead Creek in Kingswear, within walking distance of the friendly Ship Inn pub and the ferry that will take you across the river to Dartmouth. The location is incredibly peaceful yet highly convenient for shops, cafes, restaurants and, of course, the beautiful beaches of South Devon.
Kingswear is a quiet town across the River Dart from Dartmouth. You have all of the benefits of being close to Dartmouth's fantastic amenities with the ability to escape from busy tourist areas when you want. Jump on the ferry to Dartmouth or climb aboard the Dartmouth Steam Railway and enjoy spectacular coastal views of the English Riviera, stopping in Torbay or Paignton for lunch and a few hours at the seaside. Local attractions include National Trust Coleton Fishacre, Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and Woodlands Family Theme Park. Charter a boat for a fishing expedition, set sail at the Royal Dart Yacht Club, or pack a picnic and explore one of the most scenic stretches of the South West Coast Path. It's all possible when you stay at Leat Cottage.
Beaches nearby include Mill Bay and the shingle stretch of Sugary Cove, which is dog-friendly all year round. Blackpool Sands is good for watersports like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, while Slapton Sands is better for swimming. Beesands, Hallsands, and Lannacombe are all fantastic alternatives.

Outside: The garden at Leat Cottage has an upper and a lower terrace, mature plants and seating where you can listen to the birdsong as you drink your morning cuppa or settle back with a sundowner. The cottage is set back from a quiet road with a footpath from the gate to the front door. There is free parking on the street outside.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, and bed linen are all included. Guests to bring bath and beach towels. One well-behaved dog is welcome by arrangement. Smoking is not permitted.
