Love North Devon is home of two delightful holiday cottages and is an idyllic fifty three acre organic farm (with a beautiful fresh water swimming lake) nestling in a tranquil position in the heart of a picturesque valley, on the outskirts of Exmoor's beautiful National Park in North Devon.
Copper Kettle Cottage (featured in this advert) sleeps five guests and Ladybird Barn sleeps six. Each holiday home has three bedrooms and can be rented individually and also together for larger parties of up to eleven, making them ideal for two families who want to holiday together whilst enjoying the personal space and privacy of their own property.
Available for weekly holidays and midweek/weekend breaks, the holiday homes provide an ideal self-catering retreat at any time of the year. Whether you are a couple seeking the tranquillity of the countryside or a family wanting to enjoy a taste of country life, Love North Devon is bound to provide a memorable holiday retreat.
Down Farm (home to Love North Devon) sits in an enviable peaceful position totally encapsulated by unspoilt rolling Devonshire countryside that has changed little over the years. Whilst offering a quiet haven away from the crowds, Down Farm is conveniently placed with the rugged North Devon Coastline, majestic Exmoor and the fantastic sandy beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands, all within easy reach and a fifteen mile radius.
The organic farm sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is lightly worked with a flock of Devonshire Long Wool Sheep that can be seen grazing in the fields surrounding the cottages. Beautiful ancient woodland provides a haven for wildlife with owls, foxes, squirrels, buzzards and even red deer coming to the stream of a morning; and the gorgeous fresh water swimming lake provides the perfect place to sit and relax, fish or have a go at wild swimming or boating.
The beautiful valley borders Exmoor National Park - a vast outdoor playground with a diverse landscape spanning nearly three hundred miles. With moorland, woodland, farmland and valleys to explore, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. Proud to be 'Europe's first international dark sky reserve', Exmoor is the perfect place for star gazing and the ideal place to escape the pressures of modern living.
