The Annex at West View is a quiet holiday apartment in a beautiful location for a self-catering holiday in the Peak District. The one-bedroom property is entirely self-contained and is ideal for couples or individuals who want the convenience of being close to spectacular Peak walks. You're only a ten-minute walk from the centre of Glossop, where there are shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and a mainline train station if you want to leave the car behind. The beautifully presented modern holiday home gives access to a snooker room, a small gym, and an indoor swimming pool.
Glossop is well known amongst keen walkers for the quality of its footpaths. Snake Pass, Kinder Scout, Black Hill, and the Longendale Valley are all nearby, providing you with miles of beautiful scenery. Cycling routes are also plentiful, with a favourite local trail going from the Old Glossop Conservation Area past Norman Mouselow to Longdale Dam, with far-reaching views of the Pennines. Glossop is a welcoming market town close to the western border of the Peak District National Park with lots of places to eat, drink and shop. You can get to Manchester in under an hour if you fancy more cosmopolitan delights or spend time exploring pretty historic towns like Hayfield, Buxton, Bakewell, and Eyam.
Local attractions include Chatsworth House (50 minutes), National Trust Lyme House and Park (30 minutes), and Poole Cavern and County Park (35 minutes). You're just over an hour from Alton Towers and within easy reach of beauty spots like the waterfalls at Wildboar Clough, Issue Clough and Middle Black Clough. The Torside Reservoir is only a few miles away and accessible via the Trans Pennine Way.
Glossop and the Peak District is a fantastic year-round holiday destination because it's gorgeous in every season with plenty to see and do. The Annex at West View is private without being isolated or cut off from bars, cafes, and other amenities that make a self-catering stay fun.

The Annex at West View is a single-storey holiday apartment with steps leading to the front door. It's beautifully presented and furnished throughout.
Outside: The Annex has a sunny patio with a barbecue and an outdoor table and chairs. There's also allocated parking. Guests have use of the site's swimming pool, snooker table and gym equipment.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. Smoking and pets are not permitted. Short breaks (minimum of three nights) are possible depending on availability.
