Waterside Lodge is a spacious and modern static caravan located close to a lake on the popular Cotswold Hoburne site in the Cotswold Water Park. With on-site amenities including an indoor swimming pool, kart buggies, pedloe hire, crazy golf, a bar, cafe and brasserie there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. South Cerney, which is just a twenty minute walk, or five minute drive away, has all the amenities you would need for a self-catering holiday including three pubs, takeaways and a small supermarket. With two bedrooms and sleeping up to four guests it is perfect for families, friends or couples alike.
Just around the corner you will find the Cotswold Country Park and Beach. With over forty square miles of lakes there is plenty to keep all watersports lovers happy here. From sailing and paddle boarding to canoeing and kayaking, you can try a different activity each day! The huge inflatable obstacle course and adventure playground is also likely to be a big hit. For those that like to keep their feet dry you can try your hand at archery, walking, biking, fishing or bird watching. If you fancy a day out a bit further afield the kids will love all the animals at The Cotswold Wildlife Park.
Sitting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the green rolling hills and picturesque honey coloured villages in the Cotswolds are the perfect backdrop for walking and cycling adventures. Alternatively, browse antique shops and eateries in the ancient market towns or enjoy a hearty village pub meal after a leisurely stroll in this beautiful countryside. Bourton-on-the-Water, which is often described as the little ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’, is a lovely spot to spend a relaxing day meandering along the River Windrush, enjoying a leisurely picnic or a bit of shopping.
Just a fifteen minute drive from Waterside Lodge is the market town of Cirencester. With good train links to London, it is easy to leave the office on Friday night and enjoy a weekend of countryside bliss. It’s worth popping into Cirencester for market days on Mondays and Fridays and there are also a number of boutiques and chic coffee shops to explore. Don’t worry if you miss market day as there are plenty of good farm shops and supermarkets nearby. Cirencester, which used to be a medieval wool town, has a fascinating history. Anyone who would like to find out more about it’s past can visit the Cirencester Museum.
Waterside Lodge is a cosy and comfortable caravan at any time of the year. Enjoy a sundowner and barbecue on the decking in the summer whilst the kids play on the grass or hunker down by the fire during the cooler months.
