About The Three Gables

Three Gables gives guests a rare opportunity to stay in a heritage building in the heart of Stratford-Upon-Avon. You don't have to be a fan of Shakespeare to recognise that this is a fantastic place for a holiday. However, if you appreciate The Bard then you'll love being within walking distance of Shakespeare's Birthplace and other relevant locations. The building dates from 1595 and Shakespeare could have seen it, and possibly even been inside, when he returned to Stratford from London. Three Gables has recently been carefully restored and extensively renovated to provide seven beautiful self-catering apartments sleeping between two and four people.

Stratford-Upon-Avon is famous around the world, but it is so much more than its Shakespeare connection. Rent a boat for a few hours and sail along the Avon River, or go to the Nutcracker Christmas Shop, where it's festive all year round. There's the Butterfly Museum for budding lepidopterists and the Museum of Mechanical Art and Design (MAD) for engineers. Built in the same year as Three Gables, the Grade II Listed Garrick Inn is the oldest pub in town and an atmospheric place for a pint.

Visitors with interest in Shakespeare will love the atmosphere in the lively town. Get up early to see Shakespeare's Birthplace on Henley Street, as it gets busy with bus tours from mid-morning. A guided walking tour is a fantastic way to make sure you don't miss a thing, and you can round off your day with a production at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Three Gables is perfect for a romantic weekend away, a fun family holiday, or a few days of sightseeing and culture with friends. The self-contained apartments are within walking distance of all of the sights and attractions that make Stratford-Upon-Avon such a fantastic holiday destination and staying in a building with the pedigree of Three Gables is an excellent way to immerse yourself in the town's history and character.

Each of the apartments at Three Gables can be booked on its own or together with one or more of the others to accommodate extended families and friends. Please see the owner's website for information.
