About The Mews

This chic pied-a-terre offers a luxury break for two with open plan living accommodation, chandeliers and eclectic pieces giving an air of French chic and originality. The luxury kitchen comes fully equipped with quartz granite worktops, dishwasher and tumble drier, plus an additional dining area in the open-plan lounge ensures guests have everything needed for relaxing.

The apartment is perfect for couples and solo travellers looking for a quiet relaxing break, near to this magical theatrical town! The bells of 'The Holy Trinity Church' can be heard as you stroll to the river, through the Shakespeare Gardens, just a few moments away, soaking up the history of this fascinating Conservation area of the town with lovely walks by the river. Hire a rowing boat to explore the river, taking in the beautiful properties with their private moorings. If that all sounds too strenuous, there are regular boat rides where you can sit back, relax and let someone else show you the scenery, or pack a picnic and find a quiet spot along the river.

There is plenty to do in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Explore the charming back streets, pretty churches and boutique shops. On Sundays the fantastic market at Waterside is a lovely spot to enjoy some street food whilst browsing the stalls selling local craft and produce. Theatre lovers cannot miss a trip to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Enjoy a leisurely lunch in one of the artisan cafes or a pre theatre drink in a riverside pub. If you want to learn more about the history and culture of this lovely town you can take a ‘hop on and off’ open air bus tour which includes sights such as Shakespeare’s birth place, Ann Hathaway’s Cottage and Mary Arden’s Farm.

If you want to explore further afield there is plenty to do. Located close to the Cotswolds you can enjoy miles and miles of walks though the gently rolling hills, treat yourselves to leisurely lunches in countryside pubs or visit one of the National Trust properties and gardens. Just five miles away the beautiful Victorian home at Charlecote Park is a lovely place to spend the afternoon. Once you have finished exploring this grand 16th century house you can have a picnic in the grounds and wander through the landscaped deer park.

Back home at The Mews you can kick off your shoes and enjoy a cup of tea, or something a bit stronger, in the private courtyard. Whether you decide to eat out at one of the many restaurants in the town or along Waterside, or enjoy a little something alfresco in the atmospheric courtyard garden, 'The Mews' has everything you will need for a comfortable and cosy holiday.
