For those who enjoy walking ‘The Cotswolds Way’ can be picked up in the village and provides excellent walking opportunities. Broadway is a perfect base from which to explore the many surrounding Cotswold villages including: Moreton-In-the-Marsh, Chipping Campden, Bourton-on-the-Water and the historic town of Stow-On-The-Wold. For those who want to venture a little further afield, Cheltenham and Stratford-Upon-Avon are to within easy reach.
Broadway is located within Worcestershire and often referred to as ‘The Jewel of the Cotswolds’. The High Street displays fine examples of 16th Century Cotswold architecture. One of the town's oldest and most well known buildings is The Lygon Arms said to be the most famous inn in England boasting an excellent restaurant and a history of famous visitors such as Charles I and Oliver Cromwell.
Whilst popular, Broadway has remained unspoilt and uncommercial with its small specialist shops, galleries, antique shops, great choice of restaurants, tea shops and bistros. Broadway Tower is the highest point in The Cotswolds where you can overlook the twelve counties from the observation room.
