Formerly used for cider making, each of the two timber framed barns located at The Old Farm are named after a local cider apple. Both holiday cottages sit around the old farm yard leading on to the paddocks and woodland. They have been carefully restored to provide well equipped and comfortable holiday accommodation, whilst still retaining many original features including a wealth of beams. The owners farmhouse is nearby just in case you have any questions and the cottages are maintained to a high standard with both offering plenty of individual charm.
Upon arrival you will find the cottages clean and well presented with towels and fresh bed linen provided, along with a welcome tray which will allow you to sit and enjoy a cup of tea and a homemade cake before unpacking the car.
The cottages are warm and cosy with full central heating and also a fire in the lounge, making them extra cosy in the winter months (logs are provided from November to March). There is also a television (with remote control), video recorder, DVD player and music centre for guest's enjoyment.
The kitchens are well equipped with everything you should need including a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine with tumble dryer.
On a sunny day you will be able to sit in your own enclosed patio area with garden furniture and barbeque provided. Children can also enjoy the large well equipped play area and there is a dog walking paddock for guests use.
