St Antony’s Cottage sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms and offers a perfect mix of traditional character with modern facilities and a contemporary feel. Perfectly positioned, this Cotswolds stone cottage is ideal for those who want to enjoy the towns excellent amenities and explore the beautiful surrounding countryside by foot. It is also a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds.
Stow-on-the-Wold is a very popular historic market town in the Cotswolds which attracts visitors from far and wide all year round. It is vibrant and bustling with private specialist shops, tearooms, pubs and restaurants.
The cottage is well located for visiting the many pretty Cotswolds villages including Bourton on the Water, the Slaughters, Chipping Campden, Burford and Moreton in Marsh, all within easy driving distance and a few miles away. In fact it is possible to walk to Bourton on the Water and the Slaughters from the cottage! For those happy to travel a little further afield, Stratford upon Avon, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, the City of Oxford and even the Roman City of Bath all provide good day trips.
Once an important and wealthy wool town, Stow displays some fine examples of Cotswolds stone architecture with a good mix of elegant old houses and pretty little cottages. It has an impressive church overlooking the town, shops that line the main street and market square, and quaint little side roads and alleys just waiting to be explored.
