Bourton-on-the-Hill is a pretty village, sitting close to the market town of Moreton-in-Marsh (less than two miles). With a beautiful church dating back to the 12th Century and a fine array of 17th and 18th Century Cotswold stone cottages, the village provides a good central base and has an excellent gastro-pub that is within walking distance of Slatters Cottage.
Situated in a desirable area of the North Cotswolds, Bourton-on-the-Hill is well placed for visiting the areas many attractions and places of interest including Warwick with its magnificent castle; Stratford-on-Avon (Shakespeare's birth place), the Regency town of Cheltenham with its excellent shops and the Roman City of Bath - all within easy reach by car. The pretty towns and village of Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and "The Slaughters" are also nearby.
Closer to home, local amenities include The Horse and Groom gastropub in the village with an excellent reputation and Bourton House and Gardens, along with Batsford Arboretum (home to the Cotswold Falconry Centre and garden centre).

Bed linen (except for the travel cot) and towels provided free of charge. No Smoking inside the cottage. Gas central heating. Please note: The stairs to the first floor are rather steep, making the cottage possibly not suitable for toddlers and those with limited mobility.
