Driftwood Lake House is the perfect place to put your cares aside and enjoy spending time with your family and friends. The fabulous three-bedroom waterfront house can accommodate up to four adults and four children. It is part of the renowned Lower Mill Estate where facilities include an onsite brasserie, "village shop" stocking local organic produce, a spa, a children's play area and an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court.
The Lower Mill Estate is a fantastic place for a holiday. The private estate consists of a 550-acre nature reserve with three rivers and seven lakes. Mill Village 67, Driftwood Lake House enjoys a waterside location with direct views of Somerford Lagoon which is the largest lake in the estate and a favourite spot for wildfowl to shelter over winter. Guests can enjoy canoeing, sailing and paddle-boarding between March and October, and there is also an outdoor heated swimming pool.
The Cotswold Water Park is a favourite with visitors who enjoy being on (or in!) the water. The numerous lakes offer all sorts of activities from fishing, sailing and windsurfing. The nearby Cotswold Country Park & Beach boasts an enormous inland padding beach complete with a floating obstacle course (booking in advance is strongly recommended at peak times). These activities are in addition to the miles of beautiful footpaths and family-friendly cycling routes.
Somerford Keynes is close to the water park. The pretty village is a lovely place with a friendly community, a beautiful church, and a welcoming 16th-Century pub, The Baker's Arms. The vibrant market town of Cirencester is only a 20-minute drive from Mill Village 67, Driftwood Lake House with plenty of places to eat, drink and shop as well as fascinating Roman ruins and a stunning country park. Alternatively, head 30 minutes south to Swindon and enjoy shopping at the Designer Outlet, visiting the STEAM Museum of the Great Western Railway.
Mill Village 67, Driftwood Lake House is easy to reach, being just 1.5 hours from West London with excellent transport links. The location is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and it's charming towns and villages like Bourton-on-the-Water, Upper and Lower Slaughter, Stow-on-the-Wold and Chedworth. The historic sights of Oxford and Stratford-Upon-Avon are also within reach, giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy their dream holiday whatever the weather or season in which they visit.

Outside: The expansive wooden deck is a fantastic feature of this property, providing a casual indoor/outdoor lifestyle that makes the most of the stunning setting. There is both seating and a dining area as well as a charcoal barbecue. The house has parking for one cars out the front with room for additional parking in the over-flow car park a short walk away.
Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, bed sheets and bath towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome with prior agreement and for a surcharge. Smoking is not permitted indoors. Sorry but no stag or hen parties.
