Mill Village 59, Mill Stream Cottage is a gorgeous Cotswold stone property in a beautiful location overlooking the water. As part of Mill Village in the prestigious Cotswold Water Park, guests can expect to enjoy a high standard of accommodation with space for up to six people to sleep in three bedrooms. The layout is ideal for families and friends with plenty of areas to relax indoors and outside, and use of the estate's excellent amenities that include a bar and brasserie within walking distance.

Mill Village is part of a significant wetlands nature reserve. The estate managers do an excellent job of balancing the ability for visitors to enjoy their surroundings with the need to protect the environment for the birds and wildlife that thrive there, particularly in winter. A network of footpaths and cycleways make it easy to explore the estate and access the facilities. Guests in Mill Village are close to an outdoor heated swimming pool, varied seasonal fishing, tennis court, table tennis, and a children's adventure play area.

For guests staying in the Cotswold Water Park there are plenty of free or affordable activities on offer. These include fishing, a spa, gym, bike hire, sailing and paddleboarding. In addition Cotswold Country Park & Beach, located a short drive away, offers a beach, childrens’ playground, pedalos and a fun, floating inflatable obstacle course.

Outside of the estate, the beautiful countryside of the Cotswolds AONB awaits. Cirencester is just a few miles away with a wealth of excellent places to eat, drink and shop, including a twice-weekly market (Monday and Friday) referenced in the Domesday Book. Other areas of interest within an hour's radius of Mill Village include Stroud, Swindon, Cheltenham and Gloucester, while Bath, Stratford-Upon-Avon and Oxford are not much further.

The standard of accommodation and amenities in the Cotswold Water Park are so good that you can have a fantastic holiday without leaving the site. However, should you choose to go further afield then local attractions include Cotswold Farm Park, Cerney Equestrian Centre, Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens, Westonbirt Arboretum, and the STEAM Museum of the Great Western Railway. There are designer outlet stores in Bicester and Roman ruins in Chedworth.

With such a wide variety of activities, there is something to suit all tastes and all abilities.

Accommodation Comprises:

Mill Village 59, Mill Stream Cottage is a spacious modern home with a traditional layout and accommodation over two floors.

Downstairs:

  • Spacious, open plan living/dining room with two sofas, a TV with Freeview channels and a dining table which seats six people. The log burner is a cosy addition for cold weather, making the room comfortable and welcoming in every season.
  • Contemporary fitted kitchen featuring lots of space to store and prepare food as well as a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and a microwave. As with the rest of the house, consideration has been given to guests' needs and there is a good complement of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
  • Cloakroom with a WC and a handbasin.

Upstairs:

  • Master bedroom with a double bed and proper storage. The ensuite has a bath with a handheld shower attachment, WC and basin.
  • Second bedroom with a double bed, storage and a door that leads to the adjacent family bathroom which can be an ensuite.
  • Twin bedroom with two full-sized (3ft-wide) single beds.
  • Family bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower, WC and a basin. The bathroom has two doors, one of which leads to the hallway and the other which opens in to the second double bedroom.

Outside: The wooden sundeck is the ideal spot for a lazy breakfast or to relax after a busy, fun-filled day, enjoying the views of Mill Race with a barbecue. There is allocated parking close to the cottage.

Additional Information: Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please contact the Orion team if you wish to bring more. All utilities, bed linen and bath towels are provided. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
