Harrier Lodge is a modern lakeside holiday home in the desirable Lower Mill Estate of the Cotswold Water Park. With complimentary spa access and sleeping eight people in four bedrooms with two bathrooms, it is perfect for families or friends who want to mix relaxation and fun. The west-facing lodge overlooks Clearwater Lake from the balcony and private deck, with direct access to nature trails and cycle paths. The house and the grounds are very family-friendly, with onsite amenities that include a spa, bar and restaurant, tennis courts, play areas, and watersports, all within strolling distance of the door. It's only a few miles from the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a fantastic holiday destination in all seasons.
Lower Mill Estate has been carefully designed to allow people and nature to live harmoniously. The protected environment is a haven for beavers, otters, osprey, and dozens of other species of birds and wildlife. It's possible to arrange guided birdwatching and wildlife tours during the day or at sunset, but you'll also see them while relaxing on the balcony or walking around the estate. Younger children love the Miss Mouse Adventure Trail, the indoor soft play area and the play park. There is also a 3G artificial turf multi-use games area with a tennis court and football goals and a village shop that sells a wide choice of local produce that includes fruit and veg grown and foraged on the estate. The bar and restaurant also do takeaway meals for times you don't want to cook. Bring your bicycle, SUP, kayak or canoe or save yourself the effort of putting them on the car and hire them from Lower Mill's Activity Hub, where you can also arrange a yoga session. The Cotswolds Country Park and Beach are only a mile away, with an inflatable obstacle course and other fun activities.
Cirencester is only a few miles from Harrier Lodge. It's a fantastic town with Roman ruins and museums and a wide choice of places to eat, drink, and shop, including a popular market held every weekday in Market Place. Cheltenham's boutiques beckon for some upmarket shopping - something to wear for a day at the races, perhaps? Other places to visit include Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold, both utterly captivating with their wealth of period Cotswold stone buildings. Bath's splendid Georgian buildings are within easy reach by car, as is Westonbirt National Arboretum, Cotswolds Farm Park, and Cotswolds Wildlife Park.
Harrier Lodge is available for bookings all year round.
