Dove Cottage is a charming Grade II listed stone Cotswold cottage that is located in the peaceful lanes of Bisley in Gloucestershire. Sleeping two guests, its beamed accommodation is ideal for those seeking a romantic hideaway, a honeymoon, or simply a base from which to explore the Cotswolds. New! Guests have the shared use of a beautiful hand built, stone hot tub, in the owners garden (additional charges apply).
Decorated and furnished to a high standard, this one bedroom holiday cottage is attached to the owner's house, and has its own patio garden where guests can enjoy the beautiful views across the Cotswold valley. The ‘seven springs’ is located opposite the house - the natural stone wells of Bisley, where the renowned ‘Ascension Day’ Well Dressing is held (and which is frequented by the local ducks!).
Bisley is a beautiful Cotswolds village within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sitting on the trail of The Cotswold Way, the village offers two good pubs, a shop/post office for stocking up on provisions and three churches.
The village sits four miles east of Stroud and is within easy reach of Regency Cheltenham and Gloucester (both just twelve miles away), along with the historic market town of Cirencester (eight miles). There are plenty of attractions to visit within the area which is also good for walkers and cyclists (secure bike storage is available). Swindon and Oxford are too within easy reach.
