The Moretons offers a choice of nine well presented self-catering holiday homes which can accommodate parties of two to ten guests or larger groups if hired together (a lovely venue for an intimate rural wedding). Located on the outskirts of Bredon, a Cotswolds village situated ten miles from Cheltenham and fifty miles from the city of Oxford, Moretons provides an ideal base from which to explore the areas many attractions.
The holiday homes sit within five acres of gardens, surrounded by thirty five acres of open rolling farmland and offer excellent on-site facilities including two indoor swimming pools with Jacuzzis (please note there is an additional charge for using these facilities), a playhouse for children and plenty of space for them to let off steam. Within walking distance are two good pubs with restaurants (three quarters of a mile), a village store which houses a post office and bakery and a hairdressers.
The nearest town (just four miles) is historic Tewkesbury, a riverside setting in Gloucestershire with medieval houses lining its attractive streets and beautiful abbey. Here you will find many independent shops to browse, cafés, restaurants and a supermarket.
There are plenty of opportunities locally for outdoor activities including cycling, horse riding, windsurfing and walking. Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham and The Malvern Hills are within easy reach and for those who want to explore further afield, the Roman City of Bath, Bristol, Oxford, Warwick Castle and Birmingham all provide great days out.
