Chicken Shed Lodge is a contemporary and stylish rural retreat located in the pretty village of Upper Tysoe which sits within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Nestled in the woods, with ducks, birds, ponies, alpacas and lambs as your neighbours, it is perfect for a romantic getaway or a memorable family holiday. The modern interior has everything you would expect from a high-end holiday home including a Smart TV, a comfortable open plan living area and two beautiful bedrooms sleeping five guests. However, it is the outside space that will have you wanting to return to this magical spot again and again. The wraparound decking makes the most of the gorgeous surroundings, and with a charcoal pizza oven and barbeque there are plenty of options for outdoor dining. Either spend your evenings relaxing in the five seater hot tub, or star gaze from your very own geodesic dome with a super-king circular bed, telescope and binoculars.
A typical Cotswold village, with honey coloured houses, thatched cottages, and a medieval church, Upper Tysoe is a fantastic place to visit at any time of the year. Whether you are looking for a leisurely stroll to the village pub just over a mile away, or you would prefer to stretch your legs a bit further, there are plenty of footpaths and bridleways nearby where you can explore the picturesque Warwickshire villages and gorgeous rolling countryside. The National Trust properties and gardens of Upton House and Gardens, Charlcote Park and Farnborough Hall are all within easy reach for a day's exploring or head to the art gallery and gardens at Compton Verney. If you fancy a day of shopping and sightseeing the University City of Oxford is under an hour away, or browse the markets and antique shops in the pretty towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh and Bourton-on-the-Water. Shakespeare fans can enjoy a performance at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-Upon-Avon, families will love a day out at Warwick Castle, and ale lovers shouldn't miss a trip to Hook Norton Brewery to sample a pint of infamous Hooky. Other popular attractions include the Cotswold Wildlife Park, All Things Wild and Blenheim Palace.
With short breaks available all year round it is always a good time to indulge in a holiday to Chicken Shed Lodge. There are five other equally enchanting holiday homes at Winchcombe Farm if you are looking to go on holiday with extended family and friends.
