Barn End is a Cotswolds dream and perfect for families, couples (one or two) and friends who want to explore this much loved part of Central England. Beautifully presented throughout to a high standard, this stone barn conversion sleeps five to six guests and sits in Paxford village with fabulous country walks from the front door and an excellent pub for a local pint or meal out. With a large garden for relaxing, off-road parking for up to three cars and a wood burner for cosy nights, Barn End has all year round appeal. It can also be booked with two other independent cottages (on the opposite side of the road - see separate advertisements for Manor Lodge 1 and 2) to accommodate parties of up to fourteen.
Paxford is surrounded by rolling Cotswolds countryside and is perfect for those seeking a peaceful, tranquil environment, as well as walkers with miles of tracks and footpaths to enjoy straight from the front door. It provides a delightful place to stay at any time of the year and has an award winning pub serving excellent food a short stroll away from Barn End.
Chipping Campden is under three miles away and is one of the Cotswolds most picturesque towns with a great selection of independent shops to browse, delicatessens for local goodies, cafes, pubs and restaurants for a meal out.
Located near to Moreton in Marsh and Broadway, Paxford is well located for exploring the wider area and easily accessible for visiting attractions such as Oxford, Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, magnificent Warwick Castle, Stratford upon Avon (the birthplace of Shakespeare), the Regency town of Cheltenham (with its famous race course) and even the Roman City of Bath!
The area is dotted with ancient market towns with spectacular mellow coloured architecture and picturesque villages, providing great day outs. Whether you explore them by car, foot or bike there are plenty of places to visit, and ample opportunity for relaxation with glorious countryside, great pubs and shops to browse.
