About Trevalgas Farm

Trevalgas Farm is huge, with plenty of space for up to 10 guests to sleep in five elegant bedrooms. The gorgeous Georgian property is surrounded by fields yet only a mile from the Bude's beach and town centre. The owners have carefully preserved original 1840s features while sympathetically updating the house with modern luxuries like central heating, thick carpets and WiFi. There's nowhere better to take your family for a summer holiday, spend a fun-filled week catching up with friends, or celebrating Christmas or a special occasion with your favourite people.

Bude has been a family-favourite holiday destination for generations. Its relaxed appeal remains undimmed in the fast-moving 21st Century, possibly because there's nothing that beats a laid-back seaside holiday. The town has an excellent variety of places to eat, drink and shop, and surf schools and equipment hire. You'll have to book early to hire one of the pretty beach huts on Summerleaze Beach, but it's worth it if you plan on spending all day, every day at the beach, no matter what the weather. Summerleaze has a tidal pool for those who don't want to swim in the waves. Other beaches around Bude include Breakwater Beach, Crooklets Beach, Northcott Mouth, Widemouth Bay and Sandymouth Beaches. Duckpool Cove is a little harder to get to, being accessed via a walk through woodland, but it's great for poking around in rock pools at low tide.

Things to do during your stay at Trevalgas Farm include walking along the South West Coast Path, paddling in Bude Canal on a pedalo, crabbing from the harbour walls at Boscastle, surfing in Newquay, exploring mystical Tintagel Castle, eating fresh seafood in Padstow, and wandering around Clovelly's cobbled streets. Go walking, cycling, kayaking, paddleboarding, horse riding, play golf or go fishing. Local attractions include The Big Sheep, Milkyway Adventure Park, Eden Project, National Maritime Museum, Trethorne Farm, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Alternatively, stay at home, light the barbecue and play games in the garden until its dark enough to stargaze. The options are endless.

The owners of Trevalgas Farm are keen to help ensure your stay is perfect and the house is full of homely touches that will make you feel settled and welcome as soon as you arrive.
