Sunseekers sleeps up to four guests in three bedrooms and provides very comfortable, light and airy self catering accommodation ideal for a family holiday by the sea with plenty of room to store bikes/surf boards in an enclosed garden. Although close to the areas many amenities and beaches, Sunseekers sits in a quiet position and affords a dedicated parking space.
The holiday home is situated in Hayle and is just a fifteen minute walk (or five minute drive) from Hayle's beautiful three mile golden beach in St Ives Bay. The vast expanse of beach means it rarely gets overcrowded and the Hayle estuary is a haven for wildlife - for birdwatchers, visit the famous Hayle Estuary RSPB Reserve to see a great variety of birds.
Beautiful walks can be enjoyed along the coastal path to places like Godrevy Lighthouse, Hells Mouth to the North and the popular seaside town of St Ives to the South. You have pubs and restaurants within a short five minute walk of Sunseekers, along with access to a good choice of shops including some of the big high street names.
Sunseekers is just a ten minute drive to St Ives or catch the small local coastal train from St Erth which is close by and will save you having to search for parking places in St Ives. The Port of Falmouth is well worth a visit and is only forty five minutes by car where you can visit the very imposing Pendennis Castle. Going towards Lands End (forty minutes drive), you can visit Geevor Tin Mine, beautiful Sennen Cove and Lands End itself. A visit to the open air Minack Theatre (hewn from the granite) to watch a production is an experience not to be missed and there are lots of wonderful exotic gardens to visit in the area. On your way you can take a look at St Michael’s Mount in Marazion and Penzance.
For water lovers, there are plenty of wonderful beaches nearby for surfing/bodyboarding and fishing trips can be taken from St Ives to catch mackerel for the barbecue. Why not enjoy a game of golf in the picturesque parkland setting of Tehidy Park Golf Club (Camborne) where you can enjoy lovely Cornish countryside views. A visit to Truro with its wonderful Cathedral and large variety of shops provides a great non-beach day out and is only a forty minute drive, or take the train (the station is a five minute drive).
