Lantic Surf is a welcoming detached holiday cottage in St Merryn Park in Cornwall just three miles from the beach. It has everything you could want for a relaxed family holiday, including space for six people to sleep in three bedrooms and on-site amenities that include a bar/bistro, shop selling essentials, a play area, a football field, and an enclosed area for exercising dogs. The friendly village of St Merryn, with shops, takeaways, restaurants and Rick Stein's Cornish Arms Pub, is around a mile away, while the lively harbour town of Padstow is just four miles from the cottage. The owner of Lantic Surf has a second property next door, Lantic Star, sleeping five people in two bedrooms. Depending on availability, they can be booked together to accommodate two families.
St Merryn is the epicentre of an area nicknamed "Seven Bays for Seven Days". Within a seven-mile stretch of coast are seven stunning beaches and bays - one for every day of your holiday! Go swimming at Trevone, surfing at Harlyn, and picnicking in secluded Mother Ivey's Bay. Booby's Bay always raises a smile, not only for the quirky name but also for its picturesque lighthouse and shipwrecks visible at low tide. Constantine, Treyarnon and Porthcothan round out the seven bays, all linked via the South West Coast Path.
Whatever time of year you visit, there is so much you can see and do during your stay at Lantic Surf. As well as coastal walks and beach fun, you can hire a bike from Padstow and explore the Camel Trail, or take the ferry over the Camel Estuary to Rock for lunch in one of its chic cafes and pubs. There are surf schools and places where you can go on a guided coasteering tour. If you just need the equipment, hire boards and wetsuits from St Merryn village. Play golf, go fishing or book a sightseeing boat tour. Other local attractions include The Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Cornish Birds of Play, and Crealy Adventure Park.

Lantic Surf is spacious and welcoming, with accommodation on ground floor level and a large enclosed garden that's safe for children and dogs.
Outside: Family-friendly features continue with a large enclosed rear garden with a lawn, garden furniture and a gas barbecue. Parking is on the road.
Additional Information: Utilities, Egyptian cotton bed linen and bath towels are all included. Guests to bring beach and dog towels if they are required. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome for no extra cost. Smoking is not permitted. No hen or stag parties.
