Hazel Lodge has everything your family needs for a relaxing holiday in Cornwall. The spacious holiday lodge sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There is a double bed in the master bedroom and two zip and link beds in one of the twin bedrooms which can be joined up to make a superking size bed if required. Guests have access to superb amenities featuring an onsite bar, children's play area, an outdoor swimming pool, and 34 private acres of grounds that feature a nature trail. The lodge is part of a collection of beautifully presented holiday properties on the family-run St Tinney Farm in Otterham near Camelford. You'll enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the carefully protected countryside while being only a few miles from the North Cornwall Coast.
There is so much to do at St Tinney Farm you may find yourself dragging your feet when it's time to leave. The site is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and the nature trail is outstanding! Wind your way through fields and woodland, admiring the wealth of flora and fauna that thrive in this wonderful location. There are many places to play and explore, with a few sun loungers by the pool for sunny summer days and a games room for rainy days and screen-free fun. It's a top choice for anglers who appreciate the site's well-stocked fishing lake, while tired parents enjoy the onsite bar and restaurant, which means they can eat a delicious meal without having to cook.
Cornwall is gorgeous in every season, and there are lots of walks and bike rides you can enjoy from the farm gate, including a favourite local route to the Bronze Age burrows on Hendraburnick Downs. The South West Coast Path is a few miles from Hazel Lodge. You're also within easy reach of fantastic beaches like Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay, and Bude, where you can go surfing, coasteering, kayaking and paddleboarding. It's no surprise that North Cornwall is one of the UK's favourite holiday destinations for families.
Day trips can include sightseeing and sword fighting at Tintagel, the birthplace of legendary King Arthur. Go crabbing from the harbour walls at Boscastle, mountain biking on Bodmin Moor, or enjoy a slap-up seafood meal in Padstow. Hazel Lodge is available for holiday bookings all year round, with short breaks possible outside of peak season.
