Greatwood Cottage is a delightful holiday cottage that can sleep six guests in three bedrooms. It is a period retreat with lots of character, sitting in an idyllic position overlooking the River Fal.
Built in the 1700's, this Grade II listed holiday cottage sits on a picturesque waterside footpath between Restronguet and Mylor Bridge, providing the perfect place for anyone who wants to escape the pressures of everyday life and get away from it all.
From the summerhouse and landscaped terrace gardens, guests can enjoy panoramic views over the River Fal and the holiday cottage has been refurbished and equipped to a good standard to include a double bedroom, twin bedroom and a single with bunk-beds, along with two bathrooms (so no queuing in the mornings!), dining room, lounge and kitchen.
Mylor Harbour is just a five minute drive away and offers a restaurant, bar, boat/kayak hire and sailing school. Mylor Bridge, voted 'Best Getaway' in a recent Sunday Times survey, is also a five minute drive (or thirty minute waterside walk) from Greatwood Cottage where you will find tennis courts, a local shop, post office, grocery store, newsagent, butcher's shop, fishmonger and a pub called the Lemon Arms.
Falmouth and its lovely beaches, the villages and beaches of the Roseland Peninsula, the famous Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the surfing beaches of north Cornwall are all easily reached by car.
