Fimbarr's Reach is a large period Fowey holiday home, with space for eight people to sleep in four bedrooms and with beautiful views over the harbour. The owners have restored and furnished it to a high standard, making it an exceptional place for families or friends to get together and enjoy the plentiful delights of the south coast of Cornwall. The house is on a quiet residential street, a short walk from independent shops and boutiques, restaurants and pubs, and the busy harbour front where there is always something interesting to watch.
Fowey is such a picturesque town. You can almost believe it was created as the backdrop for a high-budget film or TV series. It's in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at a point where two forks of the River Fowey come together before emptying into the English Channel. Life revolves around the water. Take a guided sea safari or hire a boat, kayak or SUP and explore at your own pace. You'll often see anglers fishing from the rocks for bass, flounder, mullet, mackerel or dogfish if you drive around the bay to Mevagissey for a fish market selling fish fresh off the boat that morning. Those who prefer their fish still swimming can see them at Fowey Aquarium.
There is plenty to keep you occupied outside of Fowey. Walk along the South West Coast Path, ascend Pont Pill for spectacular harbour views, or around Gribbin Head. Local beaches are Llansallos, Lantic Bay, Par Sands, Polkerris, Readymoney Cove, and Whitehouse. During your holiday in Fowey, other attractions to enjoy include the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. The north coast of Cornwall and places like Newquay are a 45-minute drive, while Bodmin and Bodmin Moor are less than half an hour's drive.

Fimbarr's Reach is a Victorian property with beautiful proportions and accommodation over four levels. Although the owners have included many modern comforts, they have protected original features and character.

Outside: Sunny decked courtyard with outdoor seating. There is no designated parking at the property, but you can unload outside and the main car park is a short 3 minute walk away.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. Guests to bring beach towels if they are required. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The property is suitable for children over six. A stairgate is available. Smoking and vaping are not permitted.
