About Bosvean

Perfectly placed close to Bude with its gorgeous beaches, eateries and attractions, Bosvean sleeps two guests in one double bedroom and is ideal for couples looking to relax and explore North Cornwall and its beautiful coastline.

Located in Bush Valley amongst tranquil countryside which is a haven for wildlife, guests can enjoy plenty of opportunity for relaxation whilst knowing excellent amenities are a short distance away. Lace up your walking boots and spend your days exploring the South West Coastal Footpath; cycle the flower-filled country lanes or spread your towel out on one of the areas glorious golden beaches. There are no end of opportunities for relaxation and having fun.

On the Cornwall / Devon borders, Bude is a water lovers paradise. It has two sandy beaches, namely Crooklets and Summerleaze which are perfect for learning to surf, as well as a Sea Pool for safe swimming refreshed by the Atlantic waves twice a day. Explore the cliff-tops along the South West Coastal Path or have a more leisurely stroll along the canal - you may even choose to combine the two and follow the figure of 8 Bude Canal and Coast Circular route. Hardened walkers may also want to walk to Brackington Haven or Hartland Quay.

If browsing shops is more your thing, The Wharf beside the canal has some interesting studios, galleries and shops for picking up local crafts and holiday gifts, along with a good mix of shops in Bude town itself. There is a weekly farmers market each Friday where you can stock up on local produce or treat yourself to a meal out at one of the many pubs and restaurants in this popular seaside town.

The village of Stratton is also close to the cottage with the charming old pub, The Tree Inn serving food and a good selection of local ciders, and ales (it also has a beer garden for the warmer months).

The wider area has a host of attractions within easy driving distance. Visit National Trust's Boscastle, a picturesque fishing village with a beautiful harbour on the north coast of Cornwall. Possibly one of Cornwall's most romantic places, Boscastle sits in a picturesque valley which runs down to the sea and offers beautiful walks. Tintagel with its associations with King Arthur is slightly further along the coast and definitely worth a visit with its historic castle ruins or visit Port Isaac, the home to Doc Martin.
