Beech Lodge is an ideal holiday lodge for couples and families who don't want to compromise between time spent at the coast or in the countryside on their Cornwall holiday. The two-bedroom property sleeps four people and is part of a collection of self-catering properties on the family-run St Tinney Farm in Otterham near Camelford. Superb onsite amenities include a bar/restaurant, games room, coarse fishing, a swimming pool, and 34 beautiful acres of fields, woodland, and a nature trail. It's an idyllic spot where couples can relax and enjoy peace, and families can spend time together playing and having fun.
St Tinney Farm is practically a holiday destination in its own right. The owners' consistent conservation efforts have reaped many awards, including a Gold Award for Conservation by David Bellamy on 12 separate occasions. Designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), the woodland trail is as informative as it is scenic - you'll be surprised how eager the kids will be to get out and look around. Outside the farm's fences are walks to places like the Bronze Age barrows on Hendraburnick Downs. Cycling is also a popular way to explore. Bike hire is available locally.
The heated outdoor swimming pool is a bonus in summer, but you don't have to wait for good weather to enjoy spectacular beaches like Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay, and Bude. Boscastle is a lovely spot in all seasons, especially when the sun is shining on the harbour next to the renowned Museum of Witchcraft and Magic. If it's magic you're after, then a trip to Tintagel is a must. Legend states that Tintagel Castle is the birthplace of King Arther, and the town has taken this heritage to heart in a fun way.
Beech Lodge is outstanding in all seasons, whether you're searching for a Cornish hideaway where you can unwind, or you want to fill every minute of the day with activity and fun.
Beech Lodge is fully equipped for self-catering. It's family-friendly, and because dogs are not allowed is also ideal for guests with allergies. Accommodation is on one level.
