Trewoone Holidays offer a choice of four well presented holiday cottages located in the small Cornish town of Hayle just a short distance from picturesque St Ives on Cornwall's west coast. Bay View Barn is featured in this advert and is the perfect hideaway for couples sleeping two. The Coach House also sleeps two and there are two other holiday cottages sleeping four guests in each, so if you are looking for a larger property or multiple cottages to accommodate a group, please click through to the owner's website for further details.
Run by David and Marilyn who live at the farm with their four children, family dog and resident cat Whiskers, Trewoone Holidays offer an enchanting blend of country living and seaside charm. Guests have the chance to holiday on a working fruit and vegetable farm that grows strawberries, brocolli and courgettes to name just a few, and for when you want to be by the sea, Cornwall's stunning coast is just fifteen minutes away by car.
Transformed from barns on the farm, each cottage offers a high standard of presentation and accommodation. Whatever time of year you visit, a warm welcome awaits. The countryside that surrounds is blissfully tranquil offering a peaceful setting for relaxation, whilst being within easy reach (just five minutes) of shops, including high street names such as Asda and M&S. The Park and Ride for St Ives is also only ten minutes away and the town offers a lovely choice of interesting shops to browse and places for a meal out.
Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, the surrounding area offers great opportunities for those with a passion for walking and cycling, as well as watersports including surfing the Atlantic rollers of the North Coast (just ten minutes away). The picturesque estuary bordering St Ives (RSPB run) is also a haven for birdlife so binoculars and walking boots are an essential! There is also storage for boards and bikes available at the farm.
The wider area offers an abundance of attractions for day trips out. Those with a passion for art will want to visit the Tate at St Ives. Land's End is also an iconic attraction that's a must, as is a walk across the causeway to St Michael's Mount, and taking in a production at the open-air Minack Theatre with a calendar packed full of enjoyable events. The Cornish coastline is peppered with picturesque fishing villages to visit such as Mousehole, or head to the larger towns of Newlyn (famed for its fish market) and Penzance.
Whether you want to spend your holiday exploring the many attractions of Cornwall, experience a taste of country life or enjoy being outdoors fishing, walking, cycling and surfing, Trewoone Farm offers plenty of opportunity for relaxing, exploring and adventure.
