Annet sleeps four guests and is a delightful holiday cottage situated in the heart of the tiny Cornish village of St Issey, only three miles from the bustling harbour town of Padsow on the North Coast.
Quaint with lots of character, Annet is positioned opposite the 14th Century church which is just across the road. At the side of the cottage is a public footpath which takes you to the famous Camel Trail offering twenty seven miles of walking and cycling along an old disused railway line (with many relatively flat areas ideal for families). Running from Padstow, through to Wadebridge, over Bodmin and on to Dunmere and ultimately Poley's Bridge, there are miles of picturesque scenery to explore.
Padstow is within walking distance and is a forty five minute peaceful walk. For those who like a challenge, walk to Wadebridge (two hours by foot) or cycle there more quickly (bikes can be hired in Padstow or Wadebridge).
North Cornwall is famed for its dramatic rugged coastline, with the coastal footpath providing an excellent way of exploring it whilst taking in the spectacular seascape. There are endless opportunities for walkers and hikers, along with plenty of water sports (including some of the South West's top surfing). Beautiful golden beaches provide the perfect relaxing beach days including: Rock (adjacent to Padstow - catch the little ferry across!), Harlyn Bay, Constantine Bay, Daymer Bay and Treyarnon Bay to name a few.
If you enjoy strolling around gardens then you are in for a real treat as the area offers some of the country's finest including the world famous Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Trelissick Gardens. For golfers there are a choice of local courses amongst stunning coastal scenery and plenty of opportunities for fishing.
St Issey affords a very good public transport service to Padstow, Wadebridge and beyond for those who want to park up the car during their holiday and the village has a pub serving good food and ales. A wider range of shops and eating establishments can be found in Padstow and Wadebridge, along with gift shops and galleries to browse.

Built from Cornish slate, Annet still retains many original features including exposed beams, slate walls and a slate floor in the kitchen.
Additional information: The cottage benefits from central heating and there is always instant hot water available. All gas and electric costs are included in the price of your holiday, so there's no annoying meter to keep topping up! Bed linen can be provided at extra cost, or you can bring your own if you prefer (bottom sheet, double and single duvet covers and pillow cases are required). There is a large garden to the rear (mainly lawn), with flower borders - look for the oregano, rosemary, mint, fennel and rhubarb (in season) and feel free to use them in your cooking! Well behaved small to medium dogs are welcome (small additional charge). There is a car park opposite the cottage by the church which is available for guests to use (donations gratefully accepted). If paying by Paypal, a small charge applies to cover fees.
