About Brigydon

Brigydon is so close to the beach that you'll be able to smell the salty air and hear the sound of the waves as you're drifting peacefully off to sleep. The holiday home is located in the coastal village of Tresaith with fantastic views of Cardigan Bay. You can literally step outside the cottage onto the Ceredigion Coastal Path, with the beach and the waterfront Ship Inn pub being only a shell's throw from the door. The cottage is light and fresh, with a contemporary coastal decor that appeals to modern couples, families and friends. The two-bedroom property sleeps four people with views so good that you'll be up with the sun every morning to get the most out of every day.

Tresaith is a stunning example of why the west coast of Wales is always a fantastic choice for a holiday. Lush green hills shelter the beach with beautiful footpaths and cycling routes to make the region easy to explore. Tresaith has some stiff competition when it comes to the prettiest beach in Ceredigion. After all, beaches like Aberporth, Llangrannog and Mwnt are all within only a few miles. However, what really sets this beach apart is the gorgeous cascading waterfall made by the River Saith emptying into the sea. It's a stunning feature, especially when added to the soft sandy shoreline and rockpools. Visitors can swim and paddle-board, and the village has a slipway for launching boats. Staying at Brigydon means you can pop down to the beach whenever you want, making the most of the quiet mornings and settling back on the sand to appreciate spectacular sunsets over the water.

There is plenty to do away from the beach if you want a change of scenery for the day. Walking and cycling are easy and fun ways to discover the beauty of the Ceredigion countryside, and there is a wide choice of footpaths, bridleways and mountain bike trails to suit all abilities. Sea fishing, game fishing, and coarse fishing are all available, and four excellent golf courses welcome visiting players. Take a sightseeing boat tour to see resident seals, dolphins and porpoises that all thrive in Cardigan Bay's clean waters, and explore welcoming towns and villages like Newport, New Quay, Lampeter and Aberystwyth. Local attractions include historic castles, heritage railways, stately homes and gardens, and places like Cardigan Island Farm Park, the Cliff Railway and Camera Obscura on Constitution Hill in Aberystwyth, and the Welsh Wind gin distillery.

Brigydon is perfect for a holiday in any season and is available for bookings all year round.
