Warth Barn is an outstanding barn conversion which is located close to the lovely village of Ingleton. It has been converted to a very high standard and has obtained a VisitBritain five star rating. The barn is the centre of a row of three houses which are all surrounded by open rolling countryside and lovely views. It boasts first class holiday accommodation for up to ten guests over 4 floors and has retained lovely original features which have been enhanced by oak flooring, oak lintels, underfloor heating and double glazing.
Nestling beneath Ingleborough, one of the famous 'Three Peaks', the village of Ingleton offers a good range of shops including a butcher, newsagent, grocer, gift shops, chemist and outdoor shops as well as numerous places to eat and pubs. There is also a climbing wall and outdoor swimming pool for the more adventurous!
The pretty village centre has narrow , winding streets, centered on a small market square. The villages well known White Scar Caves (one mile outside the village) are open to the public and have a dazzling display of stalagmites and stalactites, caverns and a huge underground lake. The superb circular waterfall walk takes in some impressive water cascades and the Dales countryside offers numerous walks and cycle routes, with the famous Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Penyghent and Whernside just a stones throw away.
If you are looking for more gentle relaxation, the Settle to Carlisle railway offers a journey through some of the most spectacular scenery this country has to offer. Alternatively, if you enjoy golf, there are several nine and eighteen hole courses within a fifteen mile radius and the local Bentham eighteen hole course is just two miles away. Special two for one offers may also be available at some of these courses - speak to the owner regarding special negotiated offers.
Warth Barn provides an excellent location from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales and is within easy reach of the Lake District, the West Coast and the Trough of Bowland.

Accommodation comprises:
Large sitting and dining room which has a woodburning stove set in a stone fireplace with leather sofas as well as patio doors leading onto a paved terrace. Ideal for enjoying the fabulous views or watching the sunset with a glass of wine! A large colour TV with video, DVD, radio/CD and Playstation 2 are all included for your relaxation as well as a small library of videos, books, DVDs and board games.
Fully fitted kitchen equipped to a high standard with American style fridge freezer, range style cooker (gas hob, electric oven), dishwasher, microwave and all other modern conveniences. Basement utility room has tumble dryer, washing machine, ironing facilities also guard for woodburning stove and BBQ.
The first floor has 3 bedrooms. A spacious Kingsize room with solid oak furniture which has ensuite shower room including toilet, basin, shower and heated towel rail.
A double bedroom which has a shower cubicle in it.
A twin room with the house bathroom. This has a freestanding bath which has a hand held shower and a modern bowl style sink also toilet and heated towel rail.
The second floor is a large spacious attic room with exposed beams and velux windows which comfortably sleeps four guests. This room has a TV and ensuite shower room and would make an ideal bedroom where children can sleep together.
Additional information: Heating is oil fired central heating as well as woodburning stove in sitting room. All power and fuel for stove included in rent. Bed linen and towels also included. High chair and cot are available. Warth Barn has a private car park also a small enclosed paddock, ideal for children's play. Lockable bike storage available. This property is No Smoking and No Pets. Christmas and New year prices are £1500 per week.
