Hanlith Hall is home to Park View Cottage which is a comfortable holiday apartment sleeping up to five guests. Set in an enviable position in the heart of the spectacular Yorkshire Dales, this delightful property has an interesting history, dating back over 900 years!
Hanlith Hall is steeped in history and mentioned in the Doomsday Book. After many years of restoration, it has been returned to its former glory and is now an exceptionally spectacular property and lovely holiday retreat.
Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, this is a wonderful place to enjoy a multitude of outdoor activities including: walking; hiking; rock climbing; horse riding (livery is offered on site if you want to bring your own horse); mountain biking; shooting (upon request) and fishing (by arrangement and within three miles).
There are numerous attractions to enjoy nearby including: Malham Tarn; Malham Cove, an amphitheatre shaped cliff formation within the limestone rock; Gordale Scar, a spectacular gorge complete with waterfall and England's highest freshwater lake.
The market towns of Skipton and Settle are nearby and offer restaurants, pubs, interesting shops and markets on certain days where you can stock up on local produce. One of the finest examples of a medieval castle can also be found in Skipton and the pretty village of Malham is nearby and very popular with walkers.

Hanlith Hall is home to Park View Cottage (along with Tower Cottage - see separate advertisement) which is a self contained three bedroom holiday apartment, accommodating up to five guests.
Accommodation comprises:
Galley style kitchen off the living area with oven, hob grill, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer and dining table and chairs.
Open plan living area with thirty two inch plasma television (with Sky), comfortable seating, DVD and CD player. There is a log burning fire - perfect for a cosy night in.
Master bedroom with en-suite shower room.
Family bathroom.
Outside: There is a garden area that guests have the use of with ample garden furniture. Guests are also more than welcome to walk around 'The Park' - a field of some thirty two acres where you can walk along the stream to Malham - just three quarters of a mile away. There is plenty of parking and bike storage in the owners garage (next to the apartment). Grazing and stabling are available if guests would like to bring their horses with them (please speak to the owner regarding charges).
Additional information: Meals are available by special request. A welcome pack is provided upon arrival. A cot and high chair are available upon request.
